AUTOMOTIVE OEM SUPPLIERS WHERE WE WORKED

Increased OAE from 40% to 90%.  Bolstered wheel life tenfold.  Enhanced CPK levels fourfold.  Achieved $2,000,000 in future capital avoidance costs, $30,000 in electrical savings, $10,000 in wheel savings, $300,000 in labor savings, and $80,000 in scrap and part quality savings.

Served as part of non-ferrous teams responsible for all aspects of procuring approximately $150,000,000 of multiple raw materials, including iron, tool steel, brass, and nickel tin.  Oversaw global supply of nickel wire and precious metals.  Managed all aspects of supply chain.  Interacted with all levels of management to ensure projects completed on time and with demonstrable results.  Reduced raw material inventory by more than 50% by utilizing consignment and Kanban.  Achieved annual cost reduction targets.  Launched multiple projects to mitigate significant increases due to markets escalations.  Worked with treasury department to develop strategies around hedging and forward buying to minimize commodity exposure.
